Australia Welcomes ADG's Breaker Beach Boogie Boarding Wave Pool!
In 2016, Aquatopia Water Park in Prairiewood, Australia made a splash with its vibrant array of attractions, ranging from a sprawling splash pad to towering waterslides and even a surf machine. As the park garnered success, expansions followed suit, introducing thrilling slides and enhancing the aquatic experience.
Amidst these expansions, a new chapter unfolded in 2021. This time, Aquatopia set its sights on introducing a groundbreaking addition: a boogie boarding and learn-to-surf wave pool. Aquatic Development Group (ADG) renowned for wave system innovation, aimed to craft a wave pool unlike any other.
ADG and Swimplex Aquatics collaborated to navigate hurdles, including optimizing the pool's small footprint and accommodating learn-to-swim programs. Within a compact space of just 40 meters, the team endeavored to create a versatile wave pool.
ADG's solution involved customizing their Breaker Beach boogie boarding pool, powered by their WaveTek pneumatic computerized wave technology. This innovation allowed precise control over wave performance, catering to various activities—from leisurely waves for recreation to dynamic waves suited for boogie boarding and surfing lessons.
Mayor Carbone of Fairfield City praised the initiative, highlighting its role in providing affordable family entertainment. Aquatopia's latest addition not only offers a beach-like experience closer to home but also ensures a safe and enjoyable environment for families, particularly during warmer months.
Despite travel restrictions complicating the project, collaboration thrived through remote technologies, enabling ADG, Swimplex, and the Aquatopia team to realize their vision for the innovative wave pool.
