ADG revamped an existing lazy river, transforming it into the thrilling Wahoo River attraction. The upgraded river boasts a 33% increase in width and a 40% extension in length compared to its predecessor. Wahoo River features notable enhancements, including a zero-depth entry, 2,500 feet of additional deck space, and upgraded theming. The standout feature of Wahoo River is the inclusion of the Wavetek® wave generator, which propels waves through the channel at regular intervals, turning this once leisurely river into an exhilarating adventure ride.
Following the debut of Wahoo River, Six Flags witnessed a surge in per capita spending on culinary offerings in the vicinity. The attraction has garnered exceptionally high levels of interest and guest satisfaction ratings at Six Flags America. With increased capacity and the addition of wave generation, Wahoo River has successfully drawn guests to the revitalized area of the park.
