Water World, renowned as "America's Largest Family Waterpark," collaborated with ADG to introduce an innovative ride aimed at setting it apart from competitors and appealing to a diverse range of age groups. This endeavor aimed to maximize the park's existing layout and generate additional revenue streams.

In Phase 1, ADG supplied the WaveTek wave equipment for the 64,000 sqft (5,950 sqm) recreational wave pool at Hyland Hills Water World.

Breaker Beach, dubbed 'Cowabunga Beach' by Water World, stands as a pioneering boogie boarding surf ride, employing ADG's cutting-edge WaveTek™ wave generation technology. Offering riders a consistently perfect surf wave, this skill-based attraction caters to guests of all ages and experience levels, accommodating an impressive average of 720 riders per hour.

In line with Water World's vision of a family-centric destination, the park sought to complement the thrill of Breaker Beach with an attraction tailored specifically to toddlers. Drawing inspiration from ADG's Mini Harbour™ water ride, this unique mini wave pool provides youngsters with 2 ft waves, fostering an environment where they can frolic and splash under parental supervision from the comfort of wide, low side-wall seating.

The addition of Mini Harbour further solidified Water World's status as a family-focused destination within the park. While teens and tweens conquer the ocean waves at Breaker Beach, toddlers revel in the mini wave pool, affording parents the opportunity to unwind, indulge in convenient amenities, and enjoy food and beverage services while watching their children delight in the aquatic adventures.
