ADG Unveils 'Adventure Cove' at Meridiana Community in Texas

ADG proudly announces the opening of "Adventure Cove," a 2-acre waterpark amenity at Meridiana, a residential community in Iowa Colony, TX. This exciting addition includes a wave pool, tidal river, and more, providing residents with a family-friendly waterpark experience right in their neighborhood.

Matt Lawson, from Rise Communities, the developer of Meridiana, emphasizes the significance of amenities in community success, stating, "It's like having a family waterpark right in the neighborhood." ADG served as both the design/builder and supplier of specialty WaveTek wave equipment for Adventure Cove.

ADG's WaveTek wave systems were used in the new Tidal River that stretches 550 ft, generating waves up to 2.5 ft tall every five seconds, with a zero-depth beach entry for easy access. WaveTek also powers the 9,300 sqft wave pool that features family-friendly waves and a gradual beach entry, complemented by a 2,600 sqft island adventure pool equipped for water basketball and relaxation. Cascading hand-carved waterfalls add to the ambiance, creating a serene atmosphere for guests to enjoy.

Matt Lawson, president of Rise Communities, highlights the unique water features designed in collaboration with ADG to offer residents a distinctive aquatic experience. Meridiana has been recognized with awards such as Best Community of the Year, Community Recreation Center of the Year, and Best Landscape Design of the Year.
